The Devil's Bride

Episode 79: Wrath of the First Flame
The world shook.
Heaven's pillars cracked.
Hell's chains rattled.
And in the forgotten spaces between, the war drums of the First Flame beat with infernal rhythm.
Lucian stood, his obsidian blade drawn. Seraphina beside him, cloaked in light woven from soul and sacrifice. Before them, the First Flame pulsed like a heart ripped from the chest of a dying god.
"You bring love into war," the Flame hissed. "How naive. How fragile."
Lucian smirked. "Then let's see how fragile we are."
With a roar, he surged forward.
The blade struck the Flame's surface—and shattered.
Seraphina screamed.
The force hurled Lucian backward, flames engulfing him. He writhed, not in pain—but in fury.
"No!" Seraphina cried, wings bursting from her back in radiant defiance.
She leapt into the fire, arms outstretched, shielding Lucian's body with her own. Her skin blistered, but her soul held strong. The light in her heart flickered, then blazed.
The Flame recoiled.
"A celestial... willing to burn?" it whispered.
"I am more than celestial," Seraphina growled, standing tall despite the smoke rising from her torn gown. "I am love. I am wrath. I am the bride of the devil—and we stand together."
Lucian rose beside her, fire licking his skin, but his eyes glowing with resolve. "You want a war? We'll give you one."
From the darkness behind them, others stepped forward.
Gabriel.
Scarred, but no longer an enemy. "I fight for peace now," he said. "Even if it means siding with the damned."
The Last Seraphic Witch.
Chanting spells lost before time began, her ashes swirling into weapons.
The Moon Priests.
Armed with runes etched in bone, singing the Song of Binding.
The Chainbreaker.
Chains snapping from his arms, fury in his molten eyes.
They stood together.
Not angels. Not demons. Just beings—broken, burned, and bound by a single truth:
The world was worth saving.
The First Flame roared again, stretching across the sky like a sun gone mad. "You defy me?"
Seraphina stepped forward, placing her hand on Lucian's chest. A sigil flared to life.
"We rewrite you."
Together, they unleashed their fury.
Lucian's roar split the heavens. Seraphina's wings glowed with divine rebellion. Gabriel's trumpet shattered illusions. The Chainbreaker's fists struck like falling stars. The Witch's chants burned through time itself.
The Flame screamed—not in rage, but in fear.
The tide had turned.
In unity, they became something greater.
They became legend.
