After putting anny to sleep Casper sat on the couch and then switch on the television, on the television a news report was currently going on.
A pretty dark skinned lady with black hair and eyes could be seen giving the news report, on the screen it showed her name was Eva green.
"Coming in life , authorities has arrested a group of people who they believe are from the notorious cult group "The enlightened ones". After she said that, the screen cut to a group of people in shackles been lead by the authorities to a police van.
A flock of field reporters rushed to the police officers intending to interview them, they shoved their microphone in the direction of the police officers.
"How did you capture them", a news reporter asked.
A muscular man with scars allover his face and with a frown on his face turned to respond to the News reporters, he was the one who was in charge of this particular operation, his name was Mr Alberto.
"We got an anonymous tip from someone who reported a suspicious activity going on in the area", Mr Alberto responded
He pointed at another reporter , a petty woman with big round glasses to ask her questions.
"Mr Alberto I would like to congratulate you on this successful mission", she said while adjusting her glasses. "With the recent increase in the enlightened ones activity how does the authorities plan to tackle this issues".
"We are trying our best in finding this nuisances and permanently putting a stop to their activities", Mr Alberto said with a deep frown.
"Is it true that the incident that happened to new Avalon city was connected to the enlightened ones???", a news reporter asked
"No comments", Mr Alberto said before turning around and walking to the police van.
News reporters flocked around him as they continued asking him questions but he didn't answer.
Mr Alberto entered into the van as it zoomed off leaving the field reporters alone.
The video cut back to Eva green who continued giving news updates.
"Why can't this psychopath work together with the rest of humanity to fight against the beasts??? Instead they prefer to kill us in the name off their stupid god Ewah" Casper scowled as he asked himself as he continued watching the news.
"Up next" Eva green said
"There was a beasts bridge today at almond city by 3 :30 pm, about thirty people died from the incident and several were left injured and in critical condition, several properties where destroyed"., Eva green said while the screen cut to a video of massive beast which looked like gorillas with spikes coming out their body causing destruction with people frantically running and screaming.
Casper's face darkened as he saw the beast killing people left and right.
Memories of his sister flooded his mind as he continued to have flash back of her death.
"I promise to avenge your death, I will make sure that I become the most powerful awaken in the world, I promise to become Earth's champion and liberate earth from the clutches of the beast and the enlightened ones", Casper said while pumping his fist.
Looking at the time Casper saw that it was past nine. Switching off the television Casper went to the bed to lay down.
Within minutes Casper has already wandered to the land of dream.
Casper saw him self in a dark misty environment, the mist swirling around in a weird and mystical way.
"Hello" Casper voiced out as he moved forward. Immediately he took his first step the mist cleared making way to a run down house.
He immediately recognized the house, after all this was the place where he lived. He took steady steps as he entered the house.
There he saw the torn body of his sisters and father on the floor with wide eyes looking at him in accusation, next to their body was a blood hound wolf with red eyes.
"No no no " Casper screamed while falling on his knees as he began to sob.
"You killed me", Casper heard the dead body of his sister Louis say. His eyes immediately shut up as he saw the torn body of his sisters and father rising up with blood dripping out from their body.
"You killed us", they all voiced out in unison as they lounged at him , their voice morphed as they clawed at his body pulling him down.
"I,I didn't mean to I am sorry, please forgive me" Casper said as he started sobbing.
"Sorry?? You're sorry??? Sorry won't bring us back from the dead" they said
"You deserve to died , not us. You are a worthless piece of shit, a trash , a nobody, you deserve to died" they said as their voice distorted and their body morphed into Gothic form.
They tore into his body as he screamed in pain.
"Casper, Casper, Casper", he heard his name been called.
Casper opened his eyes to see his mother and sister , who had a look of worry on their faces.
"It's a nightmare, it ain't really Casper, you are save now" Mrs Margaret said with a reassuring tone as she brought the wiping Casper into her bosom and gave him a hug.
"Big brother Casper everything is okay now",Anny said with a worried tone as she also went to hug Casper's trembling body.
"It's my fault, I killed them" Casper said in between sobs.
"No it's not" Mrs Margaret said.
"It's not your fault my child, it not your fault at all" Mrs Margaret said as tears rolled down her eyes.
"Stop blaming yourself there was nothing you could do" she added
"Mum I saw them, I saw them, they they hated me, they wanted me dead and they also blames me "Casper said as tears and snot ran down his face and unto Mrs Margaret clothes.
"It's just a nightmare Casper, Am sure your sister happily gave out her life so you could leave", Mrs Margaret said.
Casper continued crying in her embrace and eventually he slept off while still in her embrace.
Mrs Margaret set Casper down as she properly put him to bed and covered him in blankets.
"Mum is big brother Casper going to be okay????", anny asked
Mrs Margaret looked at Anny and gave her a reassuring smile.
"Of course he will be ok,now go back to sleep" she said.
Anny nodded while going back to sleep.
After making sure that anny was at sleep and Casper was okay, Mrs Margaret broke down crying.
"Ooh my boy, my sweet, sweet boy how many times do I have to tell you that it wasn't your fault???" Mrs Margaret said in-between sobs.
She took a portrait of her, her husband,her daughtes and Casper on the table and studied it while crying.
The picture was when they went out on a fishing trip, it showed her, her husband and her kids holding a big fish while smiling at the camera .
"I miss you, I miss you all" she said while hugging the picture.
"Please wherever you are look after our son, he needs you" she said while looking at the picture.
Letting the picture down on the table Mrs Margaret stood up and went to lay down.
