Chapter 2 - FOREVER NIGHT CHAPTER 4-6

Chapter Four: The Blood Moon

The sky turned red that night.

Everyone in Ravencroft noticed it. The moon glowed dark crimson, like blood dripping into the sky. People whispered that it was a bad sign—an old warning.

Lena stood outside, staring at the moon. Her dream still haunted her. Damien's words echoed in her ears:

"You're starting to remember…"

But remember what?

Suddenly, the wind grew colder. The trees began to shake, though there was no storm. Lena turned and saw something move near the trees.

A shadow. Watching her.

She backed away, but the shadow didn't follow. It only whispered one word before vanishing:

"Run."

Chapter Five: The Hidden Room

The next day, Lena returned to the castle.

She wasn't sure if Damien would be there—but she had to know more.

Inside, the castle was quiet. Dusty. But strange light glowed from the cracks in the stone. The air smelled like roses and ashes.

She wandered the halls until she found a door she hadn't seen before. Old, wooden, and carved with strange symbols.

It opened with a soft creak.

Inside was a room filled with mirrors and books. In the center stood a tall glass case. Inside it: a rose, perfectly red, floating without touching anything.

Lena stepped closer—and suddenly, visions filled her mind.

A ballroom. Her in a different dress. Spinning. Laughing. Damien holding her.

She gasped and fell to the floor.

Behind her, Damien spoke quietly:

"That was your favorite room... before you forgot me."

She looked up at him, tears in her eyes.

"Why did I forget?"

Damien didn't answer right away. Then he whispered,

"Because I made you forget. To protect you."

Chapter Six: The Vampire's Heart

Lena sat beside Damien in the candle-lit room. His eyes glowed in the dark, but his voice was soft.

He told her the truth.

Hundreds of years ago, they had fallen in love. She had been human then too—just like now. But when people found out what Damien was, they came for him. They nearly destroyed everything.

To keep her safe, Damien used an old magic. A memory spell. He made her forget him, forget everything, and sent her spirit to live a new life in a new time.

Until now.

"Why is it happening again?" she asked.

Damien looked at her gently.

"Because I never stopped loving you. And the magic is fading."

Lena's hands were shaking.

"So… what happens if I remember everything?" she asked.

"You'll remember the love," he said. "But also the pain. And the danger."

He reached out, brushing her hand lightly.

"You don't have to come back to me, Lena. But I will never leave you again."

And in that quiet moment, Lena finally understood.

This wasn't just a story. This was a love that never died.
