Nadia planted her hands on her waist, a teasing smirk tugging at her lips. "I dare you to pick any game here and challenge me."
Gina's eyes swept across the beach games—limbo, tug of war, water relay, ring toss—all noisy and chaotic. None looked remotely appealing.
She had always lived like royalty, untouched by rowdy games or anything she deemed beneath her. These were things she watched, not joined.
"What? Getting cold feet already?" Nadia quipped.
Murmurs and laughter rippled through the onlookers, some casting pointed jabs at Gina.
Gina's jaw clenched. Her fists tightened by her sides. Her lips trembled slightly. She wasn't used to being on the receiving end of public mockery.
She loved playing the mean girl but hated confrontation. Words were never her strength. Nadia, on the other hand, thrived on them.
"Enough!" Ace's voice thundered, silencing the crowd.
He stepped between them, facing Nadia first. "Stop it. You're acting like a child. End it."
