Chapter 11 - Chapter 10: Chaos

Several hours had passed since the murder of one of the Hesmirion priests in the city.

A public announcement was broadcast throughout the city, informing all citizens about the murders that occurred in the last 24 hours and about Ann's escape.

---

The darkness warrior who had infiltrated the kingdom was already approaching the border with the Dark Kingdom.

He was completely covered in a faint shadow that concealed him.

He knew that after a short distance, he would reach the area where the fighting between the kingdoms took place.

Once there, he could escape safely to his own side.

He began to move cautiously, but suddenly someone appeared and spotted him from the side. It was a young man in white and yellow armor.

"That armor... You're a curse? No... a demon!!" the darkness warrior said those words, looking at him with fear.

The young man's armor glowed brightly. He quickly advanced towards the darkness warrior, grabbed him by the neck, and lifted him up.

The darkness warrior filled his hands with shadow and tried to bring them close to the light warrior's hand, intending to weaken it. He grabbed the light warrior's hand and tried to darken it, to cancel the light energy it held, but it was useless.

The young warrior's face turned even more serious than before. He strangled the darkness warrior to death.

---

Ann arrived at the place where she had left her children. She looked around, but there was no sign of any of them.

She was filled with pressure and worry and started running towards the city, hoping to search for them there.

---

Meanwhile, Alain was being held in a light cell somewhere in the city by the guards.

A certain warrior in large white and yellow armor arrived there.

He extended his hand towards the cell and dispelled it.

"You're coming with me to the priests," he said to Alain with a threatening look, then grabbed him and took him away.

Alain felt anxiety and pressure but was also tired and angry about the situation. He decided to release what he was feeling and wait for what would happen next. He took deep breaths and calmed his thoughts.

An hour ago, Aden and Evie had reached the area where Ann had been imprisoned, but had also received the city-wide announcement about her escape.

They decided to first go to the apartment where Evie was staying. There, she lent him her long white and yellow robe, which he would wear to avoid standing out in public.

Afterward, they went searching for Ann.

They visited every place they could think of but found no trace of her.

Eventually, they decided to go directly to the priests' building, where they would wait for Tamiel to meet them after the meeting.

---

Ann had already searched everywhere possible.

She tried to conduct the search carefully and without drawing attention but couldn't find a single clue about her children's whereabouts.

She reached the very center of the kingdom, and there she was filled with despair. She saw several tall buildings full of guards and soldiers. She was sleepless, overwhelmed with pressure and anxiety.

She grew angrier as time passed and eventually decided to take the most reckless action, an option she had in mind as a last resort.

She took out the hair tie from her hair.

Her already dirty and messy clothes opened even more.

She stretched her arms to the sides, her face turning angry and furious, looking completely out of control.

She continued to stretch her arms, and then two average six-story buildings in the area detached from the ground and floated in the air.

She continued moving her hands in certain patterns, tearing them apart.

More buildings began to detach from the ground, some completely breaking apart, dropping pieces of their structure.

Soldiers began to fall en masse inside the buildings, most managing to land safely on the ground thanks to light shields protecting their feet.

Some soldiers understood what was happening and approached Ann with the intent to attack her.

As they got closer, Ann's anger grew even stronger.

She spun her hands in all directions, causing the ground around her to shatter and throwing every soldier approaching her away from every possible angle.

The area descended into complete chaos.
