Ann threw every soldier who tried to approach her aside, and continued to create chaos in the area.
"Call the priests! I want my children free, healthy, and unharmed, and in exchange, I will leave." She shouted to all the soldiers around her.
A large number of soldiers sent birds with letters to the priests' building to inform them.
As time passed, the chaos Ann created attracted more and more soldiers and guards from the area.
Many of them tried to shoot beams of light at her from afar, but it was useless. She kept stirring turmoil around her from the earth and buildings, which protected her from any attack or strike.
Suddenly, two warriors clad in thick armor arrived.
They shone with light, and their feet were surrounded by a glow, which made them slide swiftly over the ground, moving with excellent agility.
They dodged every rock and building that continued spinning around Ann.
They tried to encircle her and slowly get closer.
Ann, sensing this immediately, changed her strategy.
She closed her eyes and focused for a moment. She brought her hands close together, then created from them a massive amount of water that flowed outward.
In an instant, all the water turned into steam, which she scattered around her like a vortex that only grew larger.
The steam dispersed any light that approached her.
It kept expanding until it reached the two armored warriors.
One of them gathered a huge amount of light in his hand, then shot it straight at Ann.
The light was strong and concentrated enough to bypass all the steam.
It almost hit Ann, but she quickly jumped to the side.
She grew angrier and reached her hand toward a building a bit farther away, which somehow remained intact despite the situation.
She lifted it using her hand control and threw it swiftly at the warrior.
In response, he shone brightly, creating a light around him that exploded the building the moment he touched it.
The second warrior took advantage of the moment and had already reached Ann.
He began attacking her with two light swords that covered his hands. He combined four-limbed combat, shooting lasers from his legs at her as well.
Ann struggled but kept dodging his attacks. Finally, she jumped a great distance, using earth control to help her make a big leap.
She stood on a ruined building, then looked down at the warrior with an angry glare.
Suddenly, the warrior started choking and fell to his knees, grasping his throat, unsure of what was happening.
Other soldiers in the area started intervening, advancing toward Ann.
She surrounded herself with steam again, then focused for a moment and raised all the debris in the area with a wave of her hands. She prepared to throw them at the soldiers, but the second armored warrior stopped her. "We surrender! We want to settle this between us, please stop fighting!"

In the priests' meeting room, everything was chaotic.
They kept receiving messages about the chaos Ann was causing in the kingdom's center.
No matter how many warriors they sent, it didn't help.
"We need to send our witch after her!" one said.
"We don't have time for that."
"Besides, we don't know if he'll succeed in subduing her."
"We just need to calm her down!"
"Just received a letter that one of our demons managed to calm her. She wants her children as soon as possible."
"Who does she think she is? After all the destruction she caused, she thinks she'll get her children??"
"We don't have much choice right now, we need to forget all that and send her away. The war with the Kingdom of Darkness is enough, we can't fight on two fronts."
"Speaking of the Kingdom of Darkness, I received a report from one of the demons in the fighting zone that he caught an infiltrator who entered our kingdom."
"Could he be the murderer?"
"Makes sense."
"He caused us unnecessary chaos and a destructive conflict with the witch of Gaia's kingdom... We're definitely in a bad situation."
"We need to send her her children, and that's it."
"I agree, but only one of them is in our possession, right?"
"The eldest child isn't anywhere to be found, we can't do anything about him. We have to hope the infiltrator from the Kingdom of Darkness didn't harm him."
"Tamiel, you've been responsible for her until now. I think you should take that child and bring him to her directly, anyone object?"
"no, I agree."
"I agree as well."
"Me too."
"Great, it's decided then."
"Hey, guard! Send a message to the kingdom's center and tell the witch we hold only one of her children and we're sending him to her with one of us."
"Yes, my lord!"
"Great, I think that's enough for now. We need to rest a bit; we'll meet here again in two hours."
The priests began to disperse and leave the floor, all frustrated.
Tamiel was the only one among them who didn't say a word during the meeting.
He had stayed up all night, filled with pressure and commitment because of the order he received last night.
"I think the time has come," he whispered to himself.
The moment all the priests scattered was when their protection was weakest.
Tamiel began quietly whispering various things related to the techniques he was about to use.
Suddenly, a glow surrounded him.
He became even more exhausted than before from the strain of using the technique.
His eyes turned yellow, and he started running up the building's stairs.
The glow around him made him run at a furious speed.
He reached one of the priests who was also going down the stairs, talking with a nearby guard.
Tamiel approached them, created a light sword that covered his hand, and killed them both.
He continued running up the stairs until he reached the lower floor.
The building had several entrances, and he ran between them without stopping, intercepting every priest trying to escape.
One by one, he eventually killed them all.
