"But he already does hate you so why do you need his apology?" I pointed out to her. "You both hate each other and as far as I'm concerned, you don't want to be involved in each other's space so isn't this distance kind of a good thing? Why are you bothered or concerned if he forgives you or not."
Her expression changes to sadness in a matter of seconds. "Because it was my fault. I'm the reason why he got beaten and punished by your father. Jayden had tried to help me that night but i wouldn't listen. My stubbornness put him in this mess that I created and i feel bad about it."
