"How did it go? Were you able to speak to the Alpha prince?" Katherine asked as soon as i walked out of the hallway that led to Noah's chambers. Days ago, Liam had kept to his promise and appointed her as my handmaid so we were always together now.
It made me feel a lot better that i have someone i could trust next to my side until I'm able to figure out a way out of here. I had thought that Katherine wouldn't accept the appointment because she might find it embarrassing but she had.
In her own words, it's a position of honor and it meant that her status as a palace maid has been elevated. She wouldn't be doing deficient jobs and would only tend to my needs. That way we could spend more time together and i couldn't help but feel happy that she was with me now.
