After finishing the meal, Gavin picked up his car keys and stood up, polite and warm. "It's late now. I'll drive Miss Susan home."
Susan quickly replied, "Thank you. No need please, my home isn't far from here." Gavin smiled gently, "Don't bother. It's my please."
Director Yvonne glanced at Gavin and said to Susan, "Susan, if he wants to give you a ride, just let him please." Susan didn't want to refuse again.
Gavin was driving a Mercedes E-Class, so low-key that Susan was surprised and took a second look. Gavin explained softly, "Miss Susan is well-known everywhere. Driving a flashy car would attract too much attention."
That may be true, but it was his car. What did it have to do with her? Or maybe Gavin had already decided to give her a ride today and deliberately chose this car?
Susan found Gavin hard to figure out. Since their first meeting, he gave her an indescribable sense of danger, so much so that even Andrew seemed a bit wary of him.

"If I hadn't heard from my mother that Miss Susan is nice and upright, I'd almost think this was intentional," Gavin raised an eyebrow, taking the initiative.
His eyes were narrow and sharp; his smile carried a casual ease that helped dissolve the slightly tense atmosphere.
Susan forced herself show up a laugh, "Yeah, what a coincidence." Thinking to herself: shouldn't that line come from me? Who would believe the famous Gavin Feynman lived in an apartment complex? Shouldn't he have a grand castle or estate?
Susan now just felt that this man was unfathomable. She exchanged a few polite words, said goodbye, and hurried home.
